I can't help it. When I see a really cool project, I just have to learn to do it myself.
I bought a couple of duct tape wallets from a friend the other day for the kids (Davin is really into his money right now). And I just couldn't resist figuring out how to make them. You know, just in case the kids ever want another, or Davin and his friends (or Charis) want to learn to make them one day, or I'm ever in dire need of a wallet and all I have lying around is duct tape. You never know.
Really, though, have you seen these things? They are way more durable than I thought they would be, and, with all the cool designs and colors of duct tape out there, they can actually be kinda cute. I find myself dreaming of all the possibilities (you know, just in case).
So, Thomas, whether he appreciates it or not, is now the proud owner of a camo duct tape wallet with high contrast orange trim. Because you can't take just any old wallet out hunting, you need to have a boyscout wallet.
